纺织工程学科为山东省重点学科和青岛大学特色优势学科。现有教师 17名，主要承担纺织工程专业的学科基础课及纺织与计算机应用、纺织与纺织品贸易两个专业方向的本科教学工作。除进行高质量的纺织基础理论教学外，又在以下三个方面有自己的特色，分别是：（1）纺织新技术、新工艺与纺织质量控制；（2）计算机在纺织上的应用；（3）纺织品贸易与营销。主要研究领域包括：纺织纤维新材料及其集合体加工技术、新型纺纱技术、机电一体化、纺织复合材料等，并取得了较高水平的成果。

Textile Engineering Department: Textile engineering discipline is the key discipline of Shandong Province and the characteristic & preponderant discipline of Qingdao University. There are 17 teachers mainly for the teaching of the basic theological classes of textile engineering major and the undergraduate course of two majors-textile & computer application and textile & textile trade. Besides high quality textile basic theological teaching, there are also features in the following three aspects: （1）new textile technique & new craftwork and textile quality control; （2）computer application to textile;（3）textile trading and marketing. The main research field includes: processing technology of new textile materials, new spinning technique, mechanical & electrical integration, textile composites and etc., which gained high level accomplishments.郭肖青
